About Technopreneur
I am Ansuman Roy, a technologist since I was 12. Since school, I have been in love with computers and still am. I live in Melbourne with my family: my wife, Veena, and my son, Rohan.
When I'm not immersed in technology, I'm at a nearby public speaking club, engaging in my interests.
My philosophy is, "Life is a work in progress; when you hit perfection, it's death."
Beyond my techie side, I have a deep interest in the psychology of excellence and the intricacies of the human mind. I am also a qualified Master Coach and a Master Hypnotist.
Why Technopreneur?
The technopreneur’s journey started with frustration. Yes, you read it right—frustration, not inspiration. I can’t tell you how many of my friends, colleagues, peers, and strangers have reached out to me and asked, “How do I start a business of my own? How can I build a product? “
So many folks join a course, do an MBA, pivot, leaving their wealth of experience behind, and start from scratch. Not that there is anything wrong with these courses, but what if you focus on your strengths and build your empire brick by brick?
You might be working your 9-5, and I encourage you to continue that; after all, that pays your mortgages. But what if you invested your 5-9 to create something beautiful? What if you shared your knowledge and earned purely by working on your side hustle?
But what about my work-life balance? What about Netflix? Do I have to sacrifice?
No. Ralph Smedley, the founder of Toastmasters, said some 100 years ago, “We learn best during moments of enjoyment.”
And this is my promise.
All my posts will be direct, entertaining, and practical. These are the three pillars of the Technopreneur. And hey, we all are a work in progress, aren’t we?
That’s the Technopreneur mantra. Technopreneur is a community.
What do I write about?
I write about my various interests: Public Speaking, Entrepreneurship, Business, and the Tech behind the business. I will share my life’s experiences, but again, this publication is about you, the reader, and not me, the person.
What can you expect here?
It starts with a weekly newsletter about Entrepreneurship. No BS, I promise.
Moving on, I am working behind the scenes to build a cohort-style, practical, focused product offering. It’s known as the Technopreneur’s blueprint. It’s a work in progress.
But that’s the secret between you and me. I love to surprise folks. And get ready to be pleasantly surprised.
Hola, and nice to meet you.
